Hi, I’m Andrew — the owner of Durham Cat Sitting. Cats have been a part of my life for over 30 years, and before moving to Durham I ran a successful cat sitting business in Surrey, caring for hundreds of happy cats.
Alongside my work, I also volunteer with Cats Protection, the National Trust, and Durham Cathedral, continuing my lifelong commitment to animal welfare and community service.
I provide dedicated, professional care for your cats while you’re away, giving each one the personalised attention, playtime, and routine care they deserve. My goal is to make your time apart completely stress-free, offering you peace of mind and your cats a loving, reliable companion.
I’m fully insured and DBS checked, so you can rest assured your beloved companions are in safe and caring hands.

My primary service area covers Durham City and the surrounding villages, but I understand that some cat owners live just beyond these boundaries. If you’re in a neighbouring area, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — I’ll be happy to see if I can help.
I always do my best to accommodate requests, though visits outside my core area may not always be possible or might include a small additional charge to cover travel time and expenses.

I’ll visit your home for a meet-and-greet, where I can get to know you and your cat(s)!
I understand some cats can be shy, so please describe them on the registration form. I'll bring one if you haven't yet filled out a form. This visit is also a perfect opportunity to give me a key.
1 Visit per day
From £13
I provide loving care for your cat with a daily visit (morning or evening) that includes playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Each visit lasts 20-30 minutes. My prices (shown above) cover up to three cats. For four or more cats, please contact me for a personalised quote

I provide loving care for your cat with two daily visits: one in the morning and one in the evening - including playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Each visit lasts 20-30 minutes.
